1 Fantasy Nations RP set up on Mon Dec 05, 2016 8:14 pm

Anyone interested in playing a fantasy nation?  It will be set in my own setting, so you know it ain't Medieval Europe Fantasy #685723.

The number of players doesn't matter (outside of a minimum of 2).

Also, which type of battle system do y'all want to use?
Song of Ice and Fire Each side has a turn to give as many commands to their units as determined by their command ability.  Units can be moved around according to your whim (and provided they receive the order).  Casualties are determined by the amount of health each unit has left at the end, and surviving units gain exp (possibly even becoming veterans).  Your army can be designed to match what you want each unit to be.

Dragon Age Battles are broken in three stages.  Each stage has a Test Number that both sides need to beat over a series of rolls.  If you pass, the special die gets added to the pool.  The side that gets their pool up to or past the Battle Number wins that stage.  Casualties are determined by die roll.  Units are broadly fit into generalized categories.

Honestly? The former sounds more in-depth... and a much larger hassle of paperwork to upkeep. Obvious ups and downs there. I'd probably vote for the second if I was involved for the sake of reducing paperwork.

@The Lorerunner.

The Song of Ice and Fire one is a bit of a hassle at first, but once you've established its only a matter of updating your lists, so to say
