1 Rogue One Discussion on Thu Dec 08, 2016 6:07 pm

Hello,
I just wanted to say that I am looking very forward to the diskussion. Even though I will have not seen the movie.

But if you can, I would like to ask you for a favor: I would really love to see this movie, but I'm scared, that it will trigger me and throw my healing process back for months.

Could anyone tell me if the following occurs (and how intensive/extensive)?
Torture (seen, not mentioned, etc.), Brutal (gore, etc.) Violence (terrentino) or Extreme character loss (thoough I am expecting that, since I assum all of them will die) in a very extreme and extensive way (like literally all of them crying and horrible death).

I love star wars, but I really don't want to risk my health. Sadly, this would be a situation, where I would donwload it, to see if I can watch it in a regular cinema. Kinda ironic or?

If I can hear you, I might go to the cinema the week after, so I really would appreciate it.

Kind regards
Eruanne

The most suggestive Star War ever got with torture was Han screaming behind a sealed door in TESB. The other stuff is not something that would be allowed to happen in a Star Wars, let alone a Disney, film.

I suspect so too, but I need to be really sure.
Can't risk anything, though I suppose it will be fine.

Biggest issue is, that I don't know what to expect fromt his movie (which is labeled different than any star wars and way darker)... and I can understand way (people should go into the movie), but its just a bad situation for me.

I am really sensitive at the moment, I really need to be sure.
I hate it.
I'm so torn about this movie.

But nonetheless: Thank you, for your reply. Smile Very nice to get such a fast response.

Kind regards
Eruanne

I don't know if you've seen the movie already, but if you are unsure, I would stay away. The movie gets pretty dark.

I haven't. Thank you for the answer.
It does really seem that way.
Oh well, would have loved to see the effects, etc. on the big screen, but I am really vulnerable atm. So Episode 8 it is.
