Ads Be Gone

So I finally knuckled in, looked over my options, and tried to setup my own private forum on lorerunner.com. While possible, it turned out to be a colossal hassle and, most importantly, expensive. So I went into my other options to make this forum as easy and friendly to use as possible, especially after an incident where it tried to hit me with some spamware on my phone when I accessed it, and just paid for the forum to be ad-free for the coming year. Hopefully everyone will be seeing these effects immediately, and if not please let me know so I can try and diagnose.

Ah, I was wondering if we'd had that discussion yet. Yes, to confirm, the ad rotation for Forumotion does frequently cycle in unsecure embedded code, though it's awesome to hear you're already looking to fix it.

Will putz about in the coming days to see if it's all settled. \o Cheers.

In my other forum we collected money for the yearly forum costs, this way we were more invested and it felt more like a group project.

It's pretty belated, but for the sake of checking it off, after nearly a month of use over my phone with no ad / script blocking, I haven't had a single issue now that the ads have been expunged. And though the sample is relatively low, I have also not suffered any other tertiary glitches with Forumotion, such as the servers lapsing / losing posts.
