Statement from the Echain People's Army for National Liberation (EPALN)

To our comrades of the PA-PGL, I welcome you. Know that you have the full and heartfelt support of the men and women fighting for a free and egalitarian Echain. The EPALN would like to extend a hand of friendship and offer a place in this country's future, one the worker's of Lurem deserve. While others would berate you for taking up arms against your oppressors, the EPALN understands this is merely an act of self-defence. For what is poverty if not a continued and invisible act of violence enacted daily? The EPALN would ask only that you wait one week until at least Sunday the 8th of January until taking any further action against the provisional government in Central City when the voting on the constitutions will commence. And wholeheartedly invite you to help as an advocate for the people of your region in setting up an equitable and stable government we can all agree to.

Public response from the PA-PGL to the EPALN:

We accept, and warmly shake, the hand of friendship extended from EPALN. We also wish to reassure the rest of our nation that the PA-PGL harbors no ambitions to secede from the Central City government, and stands only to ensure the operation of general day-to-duties of our citizens is as unhindered as possible. The PA-PGL fully intends to dissolve as soon as the transition to a national form of governance is practical.
