13 April, 1946
The Board of the EILC proposed and passed a programme of business loans in Eastport. All together, 5 ESP will be distributed in this programme to starting and expanding businesses operated in Eastport and owned by Eastportians. Loans have interest rates ranging from 6 to 8% p.a. for short-term loans (up to 5 years repayment) and 8 to 10% for long-term loans (up to 10 years), without need for collateral and option to prolong the loan for additional 5 years, during which interest will be raised by 2% p.a. (only for the years of the extension). For the first year of the loan, indebted doesn't have to pay monthly payments (spreading them across the following months).

Shareholder vote on the item:
Eastport - 40 votes (100%) - FOR

Programme passes with 100% of the vote.

Lurem would like to propose business loans for Lurem. 2 ESP will be distributed and dealt with in a similar manner that Eastport dealt with their loans. This is aimed at the general industry of the region.

Shareholder vote on the item:
Lurem- 10 votes FOR - 14% FOR

This is basically all on Felix since he is the majority shareholder.

If Lurem pledges to invest further 1,5 ESP until the end of the year, I support the measure, but with a magnitude of 5 ESP.

OOC: no response because summer semester just begun and so I had to move back from home to dorms

Okay, I was planning to do that anyways. I pledge to invest 1.5 ESP more by the end of the year.

This is my current proposal:

As a member of the Compact, Waltens has unilateral right to buy up to 40 shares for 2 ESP.

The government of Waltens would like to request a 10 million Espada (10 ESP) loan from the EILC for for direct business and investment loans.

5 million will be earmarked for loans for investors planning to, or interested in establishing industrial business in the Azure Bay region. The other 5 million Espada will be made available for loans for small and medium-sized businesses across Waltens, as well as agricultural business interested in investing in modernization and mechanization.

Loan terms and conditions will be similar to the loans proposed by Eastport and Lurem.

Loan proposal passes.

Waltens or Southport don't have shares yet, as they didn't buy in as far as I'm aware. However, I agree, so the motion passes nonetheless
