SWTOR fail of the week

1 SWTOR fail of the week on Tue Jun 23, 2015 10:05 pm

So Biofail decides to release a item for 1 credit that was previously obtained via these Cartel Packs (that aren't available anymore) but has left a HUGE exploit to sell them back for 100 credits.. For anyone that's played a MMO.. you know the Economy is about to nuke itself. And rather than turning off the servers.. they put a warning on the launcher about this exploit... wow.

Is SWTOR on its way out?

Well the huge amounts of microtransactions which are implementented in the game are absurd, even for a f2p game they put your average asian grindfest MMO to shame. I'm surprised they've lasted this long.

This MMO just needs to die. It was just a cash grab designed to bring in fans of WoW and KotOR, but it wasn't anywhere close to being able to compete with those games. They need to just scrap it and invest those resources in other Star Wars games, either a KOTOR III or something along that line.

TBH.. I REALLY don't want Biofail or EA to touch Star Wars. EVER. They were the worst choice to give the Star Wars license to. So.. if they do make a KOTOR 3.. I will refuse to buy it.

Bioware by itself is passable. But EA will milk star wars to no end. The new Battlefront looks terrible in my opinion for obvious reasons.

I'm a little surprised an EA Star Wars MOBA hasn't been announced yet.

They are probably going to release it when it gets closer to the movie release. Now you too can run your own Rebel base during the time of the new movies, even though you'd think they'd have a legit government by now, but whatever! Microtransactions for everyone!
