OOC: nice reference

Osprey cringes as he realizes his handle was mentioned earlier. One of the other names stands out, Odric, and he wonders where he's heard that name before. "Museum first, that is an excellent idea. We can sort through the rubble next, assuming we don't find the scroll in the Draconic hall. What else?"

She taps on some buttons to take down the holograms, and removes a card from the console to offer to whomever takes it. "I will leave the details of how the mission is resolved to you. Your equipment is in the hangar bay."

Taking as gentle a step forward as the armor, and their dexterity allows, Tin Man co-ops the inquiry. With each syllable, the faint energy along their visor pulses softly.

"-Along with situation updates, if required. I would imagine your superior would wish to be informed of.. unforeseen variables.

I considered it, as TiM is actively gathering intel, but didn't want to make an obvious grab for it before anyone else, should they show particular interest. Can't have too many cards in one's hand, as they say.

Tin Man's visor tilts down slightly, a contemplative gesture, and a beat passes before their modulator broadcasts a murmur that likely was them thinking aloud.

"Passed off from one handler to the next.. Very well, though as I'm sure you understand I will require transit."

Their visor directs from Ms. Lee to the others.

OOC: I figured it should be a leader type, or someone who could be the front man for the party.

Osprey shoots a bewildered look at Leila, wondering why she requires personal transit between the levels of the station. What exactly is this place, anyway? Ship carrier, full-blown space station, what? He doesn't dwell on it for long, though.

"To the hangar bay, then. Anyone here have a ship?" He asks, stalling for directions.

As Tin Man was abducted mid-transit aboard a cargo freighter they were stowing away on, they are uncertain of traveling arrangements.. assuming that this organization would have selected a squad candidate with equally deniable transit should the group be discovered and their assets seized.

"Guards, gladly escort our guests to the hangar bay. I'm sure they'll be excited to get their equipment back on top of leaving this old prison station." The guards escort you down three floors and opens the bay with their security card.

A VTOL jet sits front and center with a couple of ships flanking it. Gaggles of more short people run around working with the ship's crews to get them prepped. Off to the left are several trunks with your names on them.

Swiveling their visor back to fully address the seated dryad's final directive, TiM compulsively bowed its smaller frame, a token of acknowledgement and respect, as it were.

"Forgive my prior outbursts, Ms. Lee. Your professionalism and tact are a credit to your superiors. Stay safe, ma'am."

Without pausing for the others to join them, Tin Man would proceed steady-on with a contingent of the escort towards the hangar, either pausing at the elevator for the others, or instead proceeding directly via a stairwell.

Arakan takes a moment to perform a quick inspection of his ship before collecting his gear. He straps one two holster, a pistol on the right and a combi-tool on the left, and slings a large rifle over his shoulder while addressing the others.

I suppose that we should get moving soon. The sooner we get there the less time we will spend in the dark about this job's details.

((OOC: Edited after getting my ship back instead of the jet I had replaced it with))

(Fair enough, we'll say in the narrative Odric took the card. Just add that to my inventory, oh yeah free swag.)

After Ms. Lee calls on her guards, Odric turns towards her, lifts his hat from the top, before turning away.

"Ma'am."

Then follows the rest of the group out.

Continuing their confident stride (leading some of the half-squad to resort to scurrying to keep up), Tin Man immediately begins taking stock of the hangar bay's interior, busy technicians, obvious security detail and what vehicles are not obscured from view. A Kobold  toward the front of their escort snakes its snout toward the crew a few steps off the stairwell and, gesticulating with its rifle-occupied arms, grunts and clucks as they direct their attention to the cases to the left, before proceeding a bit further in with others of their entourage, giving them space, but keeping an eye on them from a post nearby.

The trunks themselves appear rather identical in all respects other than their labeling, the one with 'TIN MAN' emblazoned across the lid catching TiM's attention. Their helm cocked slightly to one side as the box seemed far too large for the only objects they were missing. Disengaging the lid, they would reach to retrieve four similar bracelets of some kind, consisting of material far removed from the immaculate and Alliance-emblazoned armor they were in. After a cursory inspection, Tin Man would reach a hand to the container compartment across the back of its broad shoulders, an opening to which had already been made, depositing the small articles.

For SM:
Once again communicating silently with their RPA, TiM releases a long sigh of tentative relief, coupled with an encroaching migraine and mental fatigue from their now thankfully cooling MIU.

"Hhf.. Alright. LEILA: end record. Tell me you got all that?"

The question is pointed, knowing LEILA's likely response in the affirmative will have her blink up annotated tumbnailed files for the holorecordings and Person of Interest image scans, each with personal audio clips and various digi-scribbled notations of observed characteristics and mannerisms, keyword links spanning a tiny network of extrapolated connections and, most hopefully, no notifications of attempted external connections or further interceptions.

OOC wrote:I've actually got all the notes written up in a notepad btw, this is just confirming that they managed it without at least obviously getting found out.

"Hell, it's about time," Argus rumbles, glad to be getting out of this cramped place designed for short people.  He gives Lee a mock salute before following the guards down to the hangar bay, actually cracking his grumpy facade to allow a pleased smile to stretch his lips at the sight of the trunk with his name on it.  "Ahhh, there's my baby," he murmurs, flipping open the particularly large trunk and reaching inside.  "Not gonna let you outta my sight again."  He lifts out a large, sheathed sword, a little over two meters in length, and he belted it on like most would wear your standard one handed weapon.   The goliath then closes the trunk and carries it on one shoulder like it weighs nothing at all.  "Ready when you ladies are."

In the hangar, Osprey flips open a case and scoops out some basic equipment - a straight backsword with a saber hilt and knuckle-bow, a plain-looking bow, a vest... "Where is it, where, come on be here..." He throws a quilted vest on his shoulder and pulls out a duffel bag to rummage through, carelessly discarding a pack of cards, which causes a few to slip out, along with a knife of a design similar to the sword, and finally grasps the item he is looking for in short order.

He immediately settles down once he's found it, and it seems to irradiate comfort as he holds it. The observer will notice it is a gleaming, palm-sized orb of a dark red-brown hue. Once he's gotten over himself, he squirrels the orb and the cards back in the duffel bag. He throws on his quilted vest, buckles his sword and knife to his waist, sheaths his bow and stows it in the bag with his arrow quiver, and slings the bag over his shoulder where it fits securely on his back.

"All set. So, who's who?" He looks up at the goliath first, who he remembers was quite incensed at not being named by Juniper.

"Name's Argus," the goliath replies, shifting his stance so his booted feet were set a little wider apart.  "Probably haven't heard of me, but I head Die Jager, a mercenary company."  Legally registered and everything.  "We fight wherever the money takes us."

Odric walks up to a table with his equipment neatly kept together.

He takes off his hat and coat, and proceeds to equip a flak jacket and a pair of underarm holsters each holding an autopistol, along with that he sheaths a pair of knifes, one onto his Flak Jacket the other is velcroed on his right ankle.

Odric walks over to Argus and Osprey, while checking that his guns are in working condition.

"Name's Ashe, Odric Ashe."

Belegar rummages through his equipment and takes inventory making sure everything thing is in order. After fitting on his mesh vest he puts on his wrist chrono, with some subtly slides a flask of brandy into his jacket and pockets his brass knuckles and holsters an auto pistol.

Belegar than takes a moments pause and carefully lifts a wooden lute. After briefly inspecting it he proceeds to quickly tunes it and plays a short song.

"Names Belegar Oheim, though I usually go by "Grog" these days."

Quickly takes a sip of his brandy.

OOC: Like the name change.

Osprey eyes Odric with a newfound wonder, and some dread. The Odric Ashe...it's no wonder he's good. Couple easy ones to remember, too, I like that. "Enough time get introduced off the bat," he explains. "I'm the bird of prey."

"Assigning names to faces is enough to start. Which ships are ours?"

[handwaving: Arakan and Argus point them out]

Osprey scoots off with those joining Argus on the Raubvogel, preferring a wall of men and guns between him and any would-be enemies in warp space(or otherwise).

Concealing the knife on my person with Larceny skill, I assume this becomes the DC to spot/find my weapon. I'm doing this just now, so the party's already seen my knife and they know i have one.

Finding a surplus of spare time and finally some open space, TiM busied themselves with a few spontaneous limb stretches, armor and all, before being confined once again aboard a spacefaring vessel.
Upon closer inspection and scrutiny:
Well-beyond basic military standard, the routine seems to place particular attention to temper flexibility of the legs, and a careful eye could note that displayed extensions seem considerable for the Human physique outside of armor, never mind while inside full LPA.

"As I mentioned, to Ms. Lee I was, 'appropriated' mid-transit. Assuming, we're all on-level, we're bound for the same, destination. If someone has, a spare fifteen, by fifteen, by fifteen space aboard their vessel, that would be preferable. A cargo bay would be sufficient as well.
A single beat passes.
".. If pressed, I can be deposited into, a cargo container."

The stretching exercise and their previous statement punctuate each other rather pointedly.

"I have a cargo bay, course it doubles as the shuttle bay too," Argus offers, waving Osprey off towards the Raubvogel.  "That's her over there, the Raubvogel.  She may look a bit beat up but don't let the scuffs fool ya."  He grins as he looks the frigate over with obvious affection.  "She's got us through a few scrapes, so she'll be more than able to handle this little job of ours~"
